Dr. Mutiu Sunmonu, CON - former Country Chairman of Shell Companies in Nigeria, where he oversaw a portfolio of about $30 billion worth of assets and subsidiary companies. He was at the same time Managing Director of Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria and Shell’s Vice President, Production, Sub-Saharan Africa. He is the most recent Chairman of Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, West Africa’s biggest construction company, and the current Chairman of ILF Nigeria, the Nigerian subsidiary of the global engineering and consultancy firm headquartered in Austria.
He is an Independent Non-Executive Director of Unilever Nigeria Plc., as well as on boards of companies spanning the aviation, financial services, and real estate sectors. He is Chancellor of McPherson University, Nigeria, and a Fellow of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (FNSE). He is the recipient of many awards, including the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON), which is Nigeria's highest national honour award of merit outside of those awarded to the President and Vice-President, Senate President, and Service Chiefs.

George Toriola is an accomplished energy executive with extensive experience in oil and gas development and operations, financing, and business development. He led a Nigerian oil and gas startup from zero production to 30,000 bopd, overseeing all aspects, including staffing, budgeting, community relations, and crude marketing.
George has helped finance over $3 billion in oil and gas acquisitions in Nigeria, including major divestments by Shell and Chevron.
His expertise extends to the Canadian energy sector, where he led several M&A and developed in-house technical due diligence processes.
Previously, George has held leadership roles in global banks as well as in international and Nigerian oil and gas companies.

Ed Marlow, an ex-British Infantry Officer, was most recently a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank responsible for lending activities across Sub-Saharan Africa with a significant focus on Nigeria. He was previously for 7 years the Head of Sub-Saharan Africa for Credit Suisse Global Markets. And before that, Global Head of Coverage for Principal Investments at HSBC having also founded and led HSBC's African Principal Investments Business. Ed has a strong advisory and both Executive and non-Executive Director background in Natural Resources and Infrastructure both in Sub-Saharan Africa and Canada and has also worked for Insinger De Beaufort, UBS and Citigroup.
Education: Master of Business Administration from Cranfield University; PGDip Law from the University of Northumbria; BA from Manchester University; Graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College and RMA Sandhurst.

Temi Marcella began her career at Goldman Sachs International before serving as a Director at The Abraaj Group, the $14 billion fund, where she deployed over $500 million in private equity and impact funds and established the firm’s Nigeria office. She later became the regional lead for TPG Capital’s $1 billion impact fund, helping scale it across South Asia and Africa.
She also pioneered the country’s largest private hospital and remains on its board. Her board experience includes Cambridge University, Save the Children International, Indorama Fertilizer BV, and The Equality Fund, a gender-lens investment institution targeting $1 billion in assets.

Femi Sunmonu is the Co-Founder/Director of PurpleSource HealthCare. An enthusiast for primary health care, Dr. Sunmonu led the design and implementation of sustainable community-based health insurance schemes in southern Nigeria, with inputs spanning healthcare financing to health-systems strengthening.

Dipo Salimonu is the founder of Moteriba Group, which comprises companies with a pan-African focus on fuel trading, fuel storage, and offshore support services to the upstream industry. He has spent several years actively involved in the downstream and midstream storage and trading industries. He has worked closely with National Oil Companies across Africa on refined product supply and storage terminal development, and with refineries and international oil trading companies on commercial structures for product supply and distribution activity.
