About the Baobab
Known as the ‘Tree of Life,’ the African Baobab is native to the African savannah where the climate is extremely dry and arid. It is a symbol of life and positivity in a landscape where little else can thrive. It lives for centuries and supports entire communities and ecosystems in the savannah. The Baobab tree is a symbol of strength and resilience that holds great significance in African culture.
Its imposing presence in the African landscape serves as a reminder of nature’s grandeur and the interconnectedness of all living beings. The “Tree of Life” represents sustenance, longevity and wisdom. The Baobab tree is an African Icon that grows to enormous size sustaining itself and bearing fruit for thousands of years. It represents sustainability and timelessness.
